Alicia Farrant - Candidate for School Board District 3

Alicia is a proud member of the extremist Moms 4 Liberty Organization, a group that bans books, promotes censorship, and has close ties to the terrorist Proud Boys. Farrant frequently collaborates with Jacob Engels, an InfoWars contributor and Proud Boy who was by Roger Stone’s side at the insurrection on January 6th in Washington, D.C. This collaboration extends to her inviting Engles to read pages from “Gender Queer” in a school board meeting to cause disruption and gin up outrage.

Farrant led the anti-mask movement within the Orange County Public School system, arguing directly against established scientific guidelines all while selling masks on her Etsy shop. She skirted school board mask requirements during the Delta surge by wearing mesh masks (which do nothing to stop the spread) inside chambers where meetings were held.

She was ejected from a school board meeting in Fall of 2021 for interrupting the meeting and calling the board “Nazis.”

Farrant is a proud supporter of House Bill 7, House Bill 1467, and House Bill 1557, a trio of legislation that widen the scope of censorship in Florida schools under the guise of so-called Parental Rights.

Farrant frequently engages in homophobic, transphobic attacks, including labeling her critics as ‘groomers.’

She’s anti-vax, anti-science, and pro book banning.
