Laurie Cox - Candidate for School Board District 4

Laurie Cox has been endorsed by the far right Moms 4 Liberty - a leading nationwide extremist organization in favor of book bans, closely allied with the terrorist Proud Boys. Moms 4 Liberty is partly responsible for a significant increase in hate speech, harassment, and threats of violence at school board meetings in Florida and across the country.

In a candidate forum in July of 2022, Cox stated that Rainbow Flags showing support for the LGBTQI+ community do not have any place inside classrooms.
